So we got Katelyn's finished photos from Cheryl today! Cheryl is so talented and took all of these photos in Katelyn's room. I'm posting a few of my favorites to share. I loved these so much I already booked another photo shoot on September 2nd.

I'm going to have a picture taken every month of Katelyn with a different flower until she turns 1. This is her first months picture with her flowers.

Family visit

Katelyn got to meet her great Aunt last week. Aunt Cindy drove down from Georgia to visit us and to meet Katelyn for the first time. She got to spend a lot of time with her aunt and her grandparents this week. She also got more clothes (as if she needed more of those) and a hand knit crib cover her Aunt made her. Katelyn was so excited to have all the extra attention that she could hardly sleep at night (That's mom's nice way of saying it's been a long past couple of nights). So now that all the fun and excitement is over, we are going to try and be lazy this weekend.

One month old!

Happy one month birthday to our daughter Katelyn. They aren't kidding when they say your children grow up fast. It seems just like yesterday we were bringing her home for the first time. We will be celebrating her first birthday before we know it. Parenthood is amazing, we wouldn't trade it for anything.

Life b.k. (Before Katelyn)

Ron and I met in 2003 and have been together ever since. Our family was originally just the two of us and our two cats Bailey and Kahlua (get it?).We work for St. Johns County Fire Rescue and we both currently serve as Lieutenants. Life b.k. was great, but of course was always missing something. We spend a month in the Keys every August for lobster season. We enjoy spending time at our other house on the west coast in Keaten Beach fishing and scalloping. We got married in St. Lucia on March 7th, 2008 at the Sandals Resort. Our most special day together, however, was July 8th 2010 when our daughter Katelyn was born. She entered this world weighing in at 6lbs 2oz and 17 1/2 in long. She was loved the moment we both saw her and has been spoiled by family and friends ever since. This is where our story begins.....
